Fit & adjust
- Set belt length snug and symmetrical over the hips.
- Match frame height to the wearer and set arm length to S, M or L.
- Set support force gradually within the manufacturer range; verify arm cups sit mid-upper-arm and the frame is even.
Operate & learn
- Put it on like a backpack: hip belt, chest strap, shoulder straps, then arm cups.
- Raise and lower both arms in a controlled area to confirm free motion and even support before work.
- Tune support for the user and task rather than maximizing assistance.
Care, charging & storage
- Inspect frame, straps, cups and adjustment points before each shift.
- Clean regularly; manufacturer guidance allows washable soft components at 30 °C.
- Store clean, dry and with spring/support tension released as directed.

- Use the current Edge quick-start/manual to assemble the correct thigh or knee anchoring configuration.
- Center the upper harness and adjust straps so the device stays stable without restricting breathing or walking.
- Position elastics/anchors exactly as shown in Skelex instructions, then test gentle bending and kneeling.
Operate & learn
- Begin with unloaded bends and floor-level reaches in a clear area.
- Confirm the elastic support engages during forward lean and releases naturally when upright.
